What's new in CalmDollar. Big things get a line here; everything ships continuously.

Take your EveryDollar data with you

A free Chrome extension, the EveryDollar CSV Exporter, that downloads your EveryDollar budget and every transaction as CSV files, straight from the budget you're already signed into.

  • Budget and transactions, as many months back as you ask for.
  • Splits resolved to one row per category, so nothing is flattened or lost.
  • Runs in your browser, no account and nothing sent to us.
  • Imports in one click with the CalmDollar EveryDollar preset, or keep the files anywhere.

We think your budgeting history should be yours to move. This is step one.

CalmDollar 1.0, a calmer way to budget

The first public release of CalmDollar: zero-based budgeting built to be fast, shared, and easy to keep up. Here's what's in the box on day one:

  • Monthly envelope budgeting with a live to-assign meter (under / zero / over states), one-tap copy from last month, and a starter category template.
  • Per-category rollover: choose reset-monthly or carryover per envelope.
  • Sinking-fund goals with target month, live progress, and pace tracking.
  • Recurring expenses with idempotent one-click apply per month.
  • Budget together, invite your household or team, owner/adult/limited roles, per-member transaction attribution, and real-time updates for everyone.
  • CSV import with column mapping, duplicate detection, and an EveryDollar preset.
  • Reports, spending donut, 12-month trends, per-member breakdown, and net income.
  • Gamification. XP and levels, three streaks (daily log, weekly review, months budgeted), 14 badges, and celebrations when months zero out and goals get funded.
  • Plans. Free forever, Plus at $5.99/mo or $59/yr, Pro at $8.99/mo or $89/yr, Business at $39/mo or $390/yr, with a 14-day Plus trial and no card required.

Next up on the roadmap: bank sync. Until then, the importer and ten-second logging have you covered.
